Before he was appointed as CEO of the merged Kraft Heinz Company, Hees was working for the H.J. Heinz Company since 2013. His journey started with Heinz after he left his CEO job at Burger King Worldwide, Inc., which was acquired by 3G Capital Management in 2010. Prior to that, he was working with one of the leading railroad and logistics providers in Latin America – American Latina Logistica (ALL). His stint lasted there for 12 years. In this journey, he grew to become CEO and Board of Director from 2005 to 2010.
Bernardo went to the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) for a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He also attended University of Warwick for an MBA and Harvard Business School for an OPM degree.
