  1. I have been having a nightmare situation with Macy’s online. I ordered three set of sconces and one set came from the FURNITURE Dept instead of online. I had to send those back separately and was transferred around a lot until someone knew that they had to send FedEx to pick them up. I sent them all back and still haven’t received a refund from the ones that had to go back to the furniture dept. That was a misstep from the start. It also takes forever to speak to someone and when I received a shipping and restocking fee that I was told I would not incur from the associated that I spoke to on the phone when I ordered it, the rude associate that I spoke to was trying to justify these charges and was beyond rude and unprofessional. I will never order from Macy’s online again and most likely won’t shop in the store either. It’s a shame because I have been a customer for so many years.

  2. I have been a customer for years! I’M DONE! I have spent thousands of dollars on clothes, furniture etc. over the years. the customer service is terrible! They want me to pay $69 LATE FEES for not being able to return items in store while every store was SHUT DOWN. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

I am at liberty to say,,,,this establishment has become worse over the years—-their cust. support iredteam is little to be desired- I can say, I had my phone waiting for cust support to assist with a proablem for a return of a damaged item – I want a credit/refund. I literally had my phone with continuous music for at least 4 – 5 hours. This, I say, and most would agree is UNACCEPTABLE.

  4. I am having a problem receiving my refund from Macy’s for almost a month now. I am getting tired of calling and waiting over 15 min. I am getting tired of being told I will be refunded withing 24-48 hours and it does not happen. Order # is 199435639. Please just refund me. You received the items now just refund me please.

  5. I have been a Macy’s customer for over 60 yrs and particularly like shopping in the NYC store when I worked in NYC. Since then I’ve been a loyal customer. However, recently I fell on bad times. To make story short , I was behind in payments. I made arrangements to pay my balance of $61.45 , which represent late charges over two months. I cannot pay that amount at one time and tried to break up the payment into smaller amounts however I was told that it is “impossible” to do, thus, I will be charged late fees on my late fee bill! I would like to finalize this bill by paying it over a 3 month period. Can anyone at Macy’s help? The third party ‘finance dept” does not have the authority.

  6. I received all of the information concerning Macy. This was nothing related to the problem that I had with the company. I will not write anymore. Thank you for the information you sent that did not apply to my problem, To me it does not matter how to write and to whom to write . The problem occurred and the buck stops at the top of the line. This is why many company’s fail. No one at the top knew incompetent business practices were demonstrated at the bottom. As a senior citizen and a disability. It took great energy to send that letter certified to make sure Mr. Jedd Genette.
    Thanks it is over. Always remember the best advertisement is by mouth. I cant watch the parade anymore to not be reminded as to what happened to me.

  7. All I wanted to do was pay our Macy’s bill on line. After signing in, I tap on my account and arrive at a page that wants me to add our card. When I do, a note comes up that it is already entered. After playing around for over n hour to pay our bill, I got myself frustrated. I did call the company who led me through the same process I have already done myself 5 or more times. Just looking at Macy’s stock, they can’t afford to loose any customers so why don’t the make this process easier. The end result, we mailed in our payment and plan on shopping at places that allow us to pay our bill on line.

    1. The company does not have a leader in the financial part of their business. They are in talks with Herbert L. Becker to become the CFO and then there will be changes
