  1. Am seventy six years old and had knee replacement surgery this summer. Last week I went to the Walgreens on ninth East and twenty first South in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I couldn’t find a wheeled or hand held basket. I asked a fellow who appeared to be a supervisor, or manager where I could find either one. He told me they no longer provide them. When I asked him how I could get what I needed, he told me carry everything I wanted to the cashier myself.
    Seriously Walgreens?
You have lost another customer and I will be sharing my story.

  2. Hi Rosalind,

Princess Cruises recommended contacting Walgreen’s for required COVID testing Prior to our Cruise.
I cannot express how disappointed and frustrating both your A.I answer service and the website navigation was.

All I was trying to find out is,
    1. Does the long Beach Washington store provide PCR or medically observed Antigen COVID-19 test that must be taken within 3 days prior to embarkation.
    2. I believe the NAAT test was also acceptable but was not sure if these were done at Walgreen’s.
    3. The phone number for the local store?
    4. Web would not allow scheduling out farther than this week for appointments.

One thing positive I did get out of the A.I. was that Walgreen’s does not provide a QR Code for the results. I do not know if this is required but intend to find out.

    Thank you,

    John Russell

  3. I reside in Jacksonville, NC. On 10/31/22 I took my 94 yr. mother to get a booster shot and was given a 5:00p appt. at Walgreen’s on Western Blvd. We arrived approx. 15 minutes early and proceeded to the pharmacy. I approached the counter and was instructed to get in the line for meds pick-up. I explained that my elderly (and deaf) mother had an appointment. Was again told to wait in line. After taking my mother to a seat I proceeded to the store front and asked to speak with the manager. I asked that she follow me to the pharmacy and pointed out the very long line. I told her that it is disrespectful to my mother and all the others in line. PLEASE AUTHORIZE ADDITIONAL HIRING!! Neither I, nor other family members, will give our business to Walgreen’s in the future. This is certainly no way to treat clients or overworked staff.

  4. The Salem NH Walsgreens Pharmacy on Broadway has been closing on crucial hours for its seniors as well as others. Saturday and Sundatys, a staff member, Liz argued they don’t have enough pharmacists. Certainly you have enough staff in Haverhill, Peham, Methuen (surrounding towns to alternate pharmacists). How do these stores maintain their people and this one cannot. Rudeness reigns at this store to the elderly and believe me. I will be putting it in any newspaper I can as Walgreen’s just does not care!
Although it is convenient the customer service is extremely poor.

Hope you find through non support a way to close this store downs as it serves no pharmacy purposes.

  5. I work for walgreen Save A Trip I would like to know from corporate and Mrs.Brewer why is Walgreens allowing consumers to call agents out of their name, and HR and upper management is holding agents accountable for trying to defend themselves. I am a minority female and I should not be called a B and be threatened to be terminated due to a consumers behavior. I have asked several times for measures to be put in place to protect us agents against that and nothing takes place.

  6. I think it’s really say when no one can get hold of you, Mr. Pessina. I’ve been a customer of Walgreens for many years. I’ve experienced so many problems with your store (i.e. #1: I’ve placed orders, 4-5 times, and EVERY time I’ve had to be refunded. I’m concerned if Walgreens servicing even exists. Does it? No one in the stores that I speak to care to try to find out the nature of the order nor do they simple take the time to help find out what the problem is/ their quickest answer is ‘we’ll just refund you’. Why bother to have online services?) (#2: Other people namely workers stealing your prescription. I’ve had RX sent in from my doctor and get home and find the pharmacists didn’t put the total number of my pills in my order / has happened several times. OR someone has taken my order. The people that you have hired to represent Walgreens are some of the rudest people ever; starting with management. Didn’t believe it until I came across it.
And this happened several times. Seems like they are so busy to care or be concerned; they have NO patience when it comes to helping; they are in a hurry to get you off the line and they do NOT like to tell you their name.
I plan to take my business elsewhere. It may cost more, but I’ll be stress free. To you, Mr. Pessina, you might want to begin looking into the care and concern of your company. Talk is mighty, and text, messenging, facebook, comments are mightier. I hope you start with store in Las Cruces, NM on El Paseo Street. There are some really mean, uncaring people there. Customer service classes should really be a consideration.

  7. Why is the Walgreens in Dunkirk NY closed on Saturdays and Sundays? I’ve needed meds three times now on those days and had to suffer until Monday. Again on Friday (April 30, 2021) I needed a script, but the store was out (explain this one to me) so I had to wait until Monday, May 3, 2021. Got the call my script was ready went to the store Pharmacy was closed, the pharmacist had a family emergency! You have no contingency plan. I was told the Pharmacy is closed on week-ends due to financial issues. Well you are going to have more because my family is going elsewhere.

  8. Walgreens no longer cares about the customer experience. Corporate Customer Service Supervisors don’t return phone calls and The CEO’s, who took over in 2015, contact information is still not public. Complaints go on deaf ears and Managers are as careless as the employees they hire. This is an example of a compsny too big to fail.

  9. My complaint is with pharmacist Dee and Travis at Walgreens #09693 in McAlester, OK. I’m having trouble filling a prescription. It is Modafinil/Provig used for sleep apnea. It is not an opioid or any other type of pain medication. Every time I contact the pharmacist they have a different excuse as to why it cannot be filled. Neither pharmacist can get their story straight. They even went as far as to tell me to “find another doctor”. First of all they claim my prescription expires today because it is over 6 months old due to it being leap year. My prescription was written and turned in to Walgreens Pharmacy on 10/22/2019, therefore expiring on 04/22/2020. Then they stated my doctor lost his license which is untrue. I called the Oklahoma DEA who researched/investigated this allegation and found it to be false. The DEA called Walgreens and informed them my doctor has NOT lost his license. Then the pharmacist claimed Walgreens Corporate Office instructed them not to fill any prescriptions for this doctor. After a call to Walgreens corporate office this claim was also unfounded and denied. THEN the pharmacist stated my doctor is under investigation, therefore they do not “feel comfortable” filling his prescription” – again it is NOT an opioid or pain medication. I have used Walgreens for 20+ years but I plan on transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere. With this being said, I found another pharmacy who is more than willing to fill it, however now Walgreens will not transfer my prescription because by federal law it has to be filled at least one time before it can be transferred to another pharmacy. I totally understand this – so why don’t they just refill it to get me out of their hair and never be heard from again? What do they care if it is filled?? They dislike my doctor solely based on rumors that he lost his license which he did not – even verified by DEA. Walgreens and these two pharmacists are acting unprofessional and taking these rumors personally. They act like this doctor kicked their dog. Due to rumors and their dislike of this doctor, the customers are the ones paying the price because I am not his only patient. I’m sure the other patients are having the same trouble I am experiencing, which is a shame. I am having a hard time finding another doctor due to the Coronavirus. This should be taken into consideration. The pharmacist at Walgreens #09693 in McAlester, OK are trying to play God by overriding a doctor (who is more educated than them) and denying prescriptions. I have attempted to contact Walgreens CEO Stefano Pessina by calling and leaving messages to no avail. Shame on him. If you are reading this please call me at xxx-xxx-xxxx. I am desperate and at my wits end. I just want people to do their job and help people especially during this time of the Coronavirus and it’s almost impossible to get an appointment with a doctor.
