The founder and current CEO of OYO Rooms, Ritesh Agarwal has been an entrepreneur from the beginning and he always aspired to be one since his childhood days. When he was 19, he founded OYO Stays, the online marketplace for budget hotels. Before venturing into OYO Stays, Ritesh created Oravel, an Indian model of the online rental business Airbnb. He obtained Rs. 30 lakh funding for this. Ritesh, age 30, was born in Bissamcuttack in Rayagada district of Odisha on 16th November, 1993. He is married to an Indian entrepreneur, Geetansha Sood. Ritesh comes from a Marwari community. His late father owned a small business in Odisha. Ritesh’s mother is a homemaker. He has an elder brother named Asish Agarwal. When Ritesh was eight, he used to do coding.     Greetings

    It was really a horrible experience had with your staff and property in Chennai. Since I was forced to pay in advance otherwise I was refused to get checked in hotel 10 30 pm ( imagine night time).
    Though I spoke to one of your senior manager Mr. Bhimal……………… but he was with hotel people.
    I also told I am going make it public………….on top these people were charging additional 3% if I pay by credit card.

    Though room was good but no cleanliness no washing the toilet sad sad sad
    no proper break fast
    pathetic……. this kind of OYO gives sir?????????????

    Hope you refund my entire money looking at my horrible situation I had to go through to stay at your OYO property.

    I don’t need your sorry sir, but I need a solution so that in future your employee helps looking at hospitality industry and keep your good will in market. Hope you reply.

    1. I thing you have chosen wrong booking partner that’s why you have faced this when you have to pay more then 50% of your room tariff as commission to oyo i am sure you will also do the same.
