Now I get it. The CEO owns a good percentage of stock to help him supplement his $16 million per year income. This gives the company a great reason to not respond or to deny claims or pull the other crap they have pulled on claims. They denied my claim due to a test not being done that they told me I did not need. This was three months from when the Hartford received my claim. So I was told to get the test done and it would reopen the claim. Three people told me I just needed those test results and it would reopen the case.
Once I finally found out I needed to send an email to ask for an appeal. So I did that. That was almost two months ago. On June 14 my appeal was overturned. No one has called. I haven’t received anything.
No income for over 4 months. Most people wind up homeless by now. And no phone.
So I called yesterday and left a message. She called me back this afternoon to tell me I need to call the case manager I had before who rarely called me back and was not very nice.
So still no income.
MD offices hate dealing with them too. I don’t understand why my previous employer contracts with the Hartford. Truly.
They have my vote for the worst customer services.
I’ve had nothing but issues with Hartford since initiating my first claim last year. The communication sucks. I’ve been waiting for 3 months for you guys to approve my claim and all i get is it’s still in review! Meanwhile my family and I are suffering but you don’t care! I wish i could change insurance companies because this experience has caused Māori stress and mental anguish. Please help me and my family!
I have been on work comp for over 2 months and the lady that is my rep, Beth Houdek did not call me to let me know I would not receive a check for the week of July 1st,I phoned her on July 1st to see when it would hit my bank ,normally on Thursday and she said I would not be paid this week because of some dates she came up with and was not helpful at all, so I will not receive benefits for 2 weeks instead of every week as per the last 2 months
I agree. They must deny claims to pay high salaries!
No wonder claims need to be denied – they may cut into the over $14,000,000 salary and compensation received by you, Christopher Swift,
