Before joining the mobile wallet and recharge company FreeCharge, Sangram Singh had distinguished experience of working in the banking industry. He initially assumed the role of EVP & Head of Cards and Payments Business following it up by becoming SVP & Head of Cards & Merchant Acquiring Business at Axis Bank from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, he was with CitiBank from 2005 to 2013, serving different roles from senior positions as part of Credit Card Business, Emerging and Enterprise Payments Business, Prepaid Cards Business, Business Payments Solutions, etc. However, his first job was at GESBI where he was hired as Black Belt- Six Sigma and gradually promoted to Sr. Manager Card Marketing.
