I ordered an iPad on July 11,2020. I did this order with a representative over the phone. All six gift cards were accepted.
Hours later I found out the order was cancelled. Why? After many calls, I was called a reseller. Then I was told there were problems with previous orders. None of which are true.
As a customer and a stock holder I assumed to say I am a Target caring person.
Nobody could fix this ABUSE that I took
Sherwood Forrest, Northridge, CA. Target has failed their senior citizens. I waited for the once weekly 8-9am allotted for senior citizens considered highly vulnerable to do my shopping. I;m 72yrs. old & there were no push cart shopping baskets in the store @ 8:20 am & I had to use a hand carry basket. The items I was looking for…Target TP///Campbell’s soup///cream cheese///& Tottillas or English muffins were totally unavailable. The reasoning I was given was that corporate had set the daily delivery trucks to deliver @ 8am & that the goods would have to be processed in before being put on the shelves which could take another hour or two. How, in the world is this helping seniors ? My choice was to stand around & be needlessly exposed to countless numbers of other shoppers or go home & wait til the following week, which I’ve done. But, I assure you my shopping will take place elsewhere…Poor management & no common sense !
I tried to utilize two gift cards at a Target store which is located in Medford Massachuetts on Salem St.
One gift card was a Target gift card which had over $50 and the other card was a Visa Vanilla gift card which had over $20. In both cases neither card would be accepted. Another station was tried and again the cards were not accepted.
The part which is bothersome is that no further assistance was requested by the cashier from a person which was familiar with the systems.
Why wasn’t an individual paged who could have corrected the problem? It is quite obvious there is a systemic problem within the store.
The question is: what good is a gift card if it doesn’t work?
It was given in good faith and someone spent money to obtain one and right now it is useless.
I am awaiting a reply as to what am I supposed to do with a useless Target Gift Card.
Hello Annette,
We were duped out of a $200 gift card. The thieves go to the rack of cards, take down all the information, put those cards in front and wait for someone to buy the card…they have already set up the account and know exactly how much money they can spend. The card was purchased by my son-in-law, given to his daughter and by the time they walked out of the store, the card was already compromised and my grand daughter could not set up an account. They took the money from the card at 3:47am and that was that. Target says, “too bad” and Meta Bank sends us to a ridiculously rude guy named Junior, in another country. Just love the customer service!! I wish you good luck with Target…they are worthless
