Before he assumed the role of CEO, Michael served The 3M Company as COO and EVP since 2017. From 2014 to 2017, he headed Industrial Business Group of the company as EVP. In 2013, he was SVP –Business Development. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as VP and GM of Industrial Adhesives and Tapes unit. He was VP and GM of Renewable Energy business from 2009 to 2011.
